Shelby and Chase are such a fun couple! I photographed their engagement session last month in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and loved every minute of it! These two had me laughing almost the entire session and it was great. Chase would say something hilarious (probably about squirrel hunting) and then Shelby would look at him like "Really?" and then we would all start laughing together! This session was unique because Shelby's mom, Terry, tagged along to help out. She not only got us an awesome parking spot in the park because she works for the park, but she also carried piles of handmade props, and was my human light stand for night portraits! She was definitely the MVP of the session!
Chase proposed to Shelby at a Chinese restaurant called China Garden Restaurant. Why do I mention this? Because it is such a fun story! I mean, how many people propose at a Chinese Restaurant?! I love it! Let's be honest I wouldn't mind if Tim proposed in one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants! (Hint, hint lol!) Harpers Ferry was a great location for their session because these two love spending time outside together!
We ended their session at Bolivar Heights with a perfect, Fall sunset. The sun glowed orange and made for some gorgeous photos that I will forever be in love with!
Now, please enjoy a few of my favorite photos from their session!
