My name is Sarah and I am an award-winning, professional wedding & portrait photographer based in Carroll County, Maryland. I can honestly say that I love my job and I am so thankful for that. I didn't grow up thinking I wanted to be a wedding photographer. I was always the tomboy who wanted to play tackle football and hang out with the guys. Dresses, flowers and makeup never appealed to me. However, after the first wedding I photographed I was instantly hooked. I loved seeing all of the beautiful details that made a wedding day complete. I also fell in love with serving my clients and capturing some of the happiest moments of their lives.

I believe that having a relationship with all of my couples is an essential part of my job. Getting to know my couples at their engagement session is very important to me and my process. I love sharing laughter, smiles, and an occasional beer in order to really get to know you.

My Husband

Tim and I met through a mutual friend in 2014. He took me for a ride in his Redfire Terminator that day and the rest is history. He proposed 4 years later at Griffith Observatory in Los Angles on a birthday vacation. Tim is my best friend and biggest supporter. We love traveling together, snuggling with our cats, going to car shows and being creative. I wouldn’t want to spend my life with anyone else. He is the peanut butter to my jelly.

Fun Fact:

Tim is a very skilled mechanic and enjoys working on performance vehicles. His knowledge never ceases to amaze me!

Isaiah & Oakley

We rescued Isaiah in 2018 and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. He is known for giving us “hugs”, running like a maniac around the house, and snuggling in your lap!

After having Isaiah for a little over a year we decided he needed a partner in crime. We waited for the perfect rescue kitty for months. The moment we saw Oakley’s picture, we knew he was the one! Oakley is known for constantly begging for treats & food, sleeping next to our heads in bed and staring out the window for hours on end.

It took them a little over a year to get along, but now they tolerate each other. Isaiah is secretly upset that he is no longer and only child.

Grand Teton

Traveling

Traveling is a huge part of my life. I love a good adventure, especially with Tim or my mom. My mom and I have an annual trip and it is one of the things I look forward to most each year. I specifically enjoy National Parks because I love hiking & camping. Don’t get me wrong, a beach trip with friends is right up my alley too!

National Parks I have visited:

Glacier, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce Canyon, The Grand Canyon, The Great Smoky Mountains, Rocky Mountains, Badlands & Acadia.

Next on my list:

Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Olympic, Haleakalā, Denali…and the rest of them, haha!
